    CALLING ALL NCAP CHAIRS!

    WHO: Volunteers who serve as Council NCAP Chairs. Requires approval of home Council.

    PURPOSE: Prepares YOU to build committed NCAP Committees, build sustainable council NCAP systems, and meet with colleagues from around the Zone

    WHEN: 2nd Tuesday once a Quarter

    • January 13, 2026 - Building a Sustainable NCAP Committee with Assessors and Camp Leadership
    • April 14, 2026 - Preparing for the Annual NCAP Assessments and Summer Events
    • August 11, 2026 - Ensuring Safe & Successful Fall Short-Term Events using NCAP 
    • November 10, 2026 - Reviewing and Evaluating Continuous Camp & Program Improvement

    CALLING ALL COUNCIL CAMP LEADERS!

    WHO: Volunteers who serve as Camp Directors, Camp Program Directors, and other council Camp Leadership members. 

    PURPOSE: Prepares YOU to have successful Camp Operations and to receive Job-Alike training, as well as, meet other camp leadership in the Zone. 

    WHEN: 3rd Tuesday once a Month

    • January 20, 2026 - Camp & Program Leadership (What does this mean for you?) 
    • February 17, 2026 - Staff Recruitment & Hiring 
    • March 17, 2026 - Staff Training & Development 
    • April 21, 2026 - Camp Facilities & Pre-Camp Inspections
    • May 19, 2026 - Final Preparations & the NCAP Assessment
    • August 18, 2026 - Continuous Camp & Program Improvement (Lessons Learned)

    PURPOSE: Prepares YOU for successful, meaningful accreditation visits to camp! (NOT a substitute for the required online training course)

    WHEN: February 28, 2026
    Check-in begins 8:00 am CT
    Course: 9:00 am - 3:30 pm CT

    WHERE: Middle Tennessee Council, BSA, 3414 Hillsboro Pike, Nashville, TN 37215

    COST: $40 paid in cash at check-in for preregistered participants

    LUNCH:  Fresh lunch provided, along with snacks and drinks throughout the day. Dietary restrictions? Please contact the Training Coordinator.

      • Existing Assessors:  2025 Standards book - replacement pages will be provided

      • New Assessors: 1½” binder for your Standards book; a set of 8 index tabs recommended

    • Overnight lodging: Reservations and cost are registrant’s responsibility
